SUMMER 2025
We delivered three exciting theatre workshops in the Summer of 2025, for a series of creative and inspiring sessions. We were lucky enough to have multiple theatre practitioners visit and deliver some exciting workshops with our young people.
Thanks to the ASDA Foundation and Jack Petchey Foundation whose donations meant our workshops were free for young people to attend.
tempest summer 2024
Tempest was a thrilling 6-day outdoor performance adventure at Steps Ahead at The Hive in Southend On Sea.
A group of 14 young people created an unforgettable, site-specific performance through collaboration and creativity. Showcased to family, friends, and the community at the end of the week. Tempest was free and open to ages 11-19 (and up to 25 with learning disabilities).
Tempest Co-produced by Elevator Arts CIC & Platform Theatre Arts supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

SHAKESPEARE IN A DAY summer 2023
Creative, fun and exciting drama workshops!
During this workshop, we explored the story, characters and world of the play, which came together for a final performance at the end of the day to family and friends. Participants got to learn more about the works of Shakespeare, developed their performance skills and met new friends.
Macbeth
This was a full day's workshop and took place at Metal, Southend in Chalkwell Park.
